Valentino Rossi (born in Urbino, Italy, 16 February 1979, 38 years old) is a racer in the world motor grandprix championship after the Michael Doohan era, with world champion titles in four different classes he achieved in seven years. He is one of the most successful drivers of all time, with 7 world championships in the top class (500cc / MotoGP) and two titles in the 250cc and 125cc classes. According to Sports Illustrated sports magazine Rossi is one of the biggest paid sportsmen in the world, he is estimated to be paid $ 34 million in 2007. The son of former 250cc GP racer Graziano Rossi and Stefania Palma holds many of his record and achievements beyond many Senior. This total eccentric racer recorded 9 world titles, once in the 125cc class in 1997, once in the 250cc class (1999), and seven-time world champion in the top 500cc / MotoGP class (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2009).

After his father, Graziano Rossi, Rossi started the Grand Prix race in 1996 for Aprilia among 125 cc categories and won the first World Championship the following year. From there, he moved into the 250cc category with Aprilia and won the 250cc World Championships in 1999. He won the 500cc World Championships with Honda in 2001, MotoGP World Championships (also with Honda) in 2002 and 2003, and continued his winning streak by winning World championships 2004 and 2005, after leaving Honda to join Yamaha, before retaking the title in 2008 and defending it in 2009 and 2010, he then moved to Ducati in 2011 after a tension with his teammate. However, while at Ducati he slightly backs off in terms of performance in the track that forced him back to Yamaha in 2013 until now.



Rossi was the first in the standings to win the race in the history of 500 cc / MotoGP, with 86 wins, and second in all-round wins overall with 112 race wins (behind Giacomo Agostini 122). Rossi, alongside Jimmie Johnson (NASCAR), Michael Schumacher (F1) and Sebastien Loeb (WRC), are also widely referred to as one of the automotive sports legends in the early 21st Century.
